September 2010, road construction & paving will continue on the following borough streets:  Rio Vista Drive, The Esplanade, Hemlock Drive, Audrey Urban Court, Timberline Drive, and the Borough Hall exit road.  Road closures and traffic detours should be expected ~ please have an alternate travel route planned.  The Borough of Alpine has asked the contruction company to leave a notice at your door the day before paving.

Milling and paving work will commence on Tuesday, 9/7/2010, and last for approximately 1 week.  Please make alternate travel route plans during this time as road closures will be unavoidable.

Continuing on Tuesday, 9/7/2010, Rockland Electric will also be working on The Esplanade causing local road closures.  Rio Vista Drive will be open for traffic to proceed to Rte 9w.  A police officer will be present to assist with any traffic concerns.
