Applications for Temporary
Placard, License Plates and/or Permanent
Placard There are two different types of
disability placards. The first is a Temporary Placard, which is valid for 6 months and can be obtained through the Police Department. The second is a Permanent Placard/License Plate, which is valid for 3 years and must be obtained through the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.
