A Message From the Tax Collector's Office:

Taxes are due: February 1^st, May 1^st, August 1^{st and} November 1^st. There is a 10-day grace period for receipt of quarterly property tax payments. If payment is received after the grace period has ended, interest will accrue at a rate of 8% per annum on the first $1,500.00 and 18% on amounts in excess of $1,500.00 from due date to date of payment received by Collector. A penalty of 6% will be charged on any tax delinquency exceeding $10,000.00 if not paid by the end of the calendar year.

Direct Withdrawal of Property Taxes:

Many residents have already enrolled in Alpine’s Direct Withdrawal program for tax payments. This service assures that your payment will be received in a timely manner and provides a safe and secure way to pay your taxes without the worry of mail delivery or coming to the Borough Hall to pay in person. Quarterly payments will be debited from your checking account on the payment due dates.
